_Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals has teamed up with Muddy Waters Clay Center and Global Friends Coalition to provide an evening of food, fun, and fundraising. Stop by Muddy Waters Clay Center Thursday, March 8, from 6-8pm for a bowl of soup, good company, and live music provided by African Arts Arena.
Local ceramics artist and University of North Dakota professor Donald Miller has created bowls specifically for this event. A handmade, ceramic bowl filled with soup is $25. Soup can be purchased without the ceramic bowl for a free will donation. All proceeds will benefit Global Friends Coalition, an organization which works to foster refugee (New American) integration in Grand Forks. Soup in the Studio is open to the public. All ages welcome. Come enjoy delicious soup prepared by Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals, visit the Muddy Waters Clay Center’s studio and ceramics shop, and meet new friends. We look forward to seeing you. |
